2004.5 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 5.9L I6 Cummins 24 Valve HO Turbo Diesel - No Reserve! *** Ebay Member since 1998 with 100% Positive Feedback - Bid With Confidence! ***This is a private auction to protect the buyers information from other eBay bidders. This truck is meticulously maintained and cared for. This truck has NEVER been off road. It has NEVER been driven in snow. Stored in heated garage each winter. I am the second owner. The previous owner had purchased this truck brand new in 2004 and in the 10 years he owned it, had never driven it in the rain. I was told he traded this in on a brand new truck an hour earlier. It was sold the moment I seen it. Before it was ever driven in the rain, I undercoated the entire truck with Fluid Film and repeated yearly... If you know what Fluid Film is, you'll appreciate it. I made a video below where you can see it and hear it. Fun truck to drive. It was ordered with a 4.10 Axle ratio upgraded 8RE 4 speed transmission so yes, it can literally pull a house. Gets an average of 16 mpg. due to the various upgrades. When I purchased it, that day I immediately went in for an oil change, Schaefers Synthetic since I've owned it. Next, before it was driven in the rain, I put it on a friends lift and used 6 cans of Fluid Film to completely undercoat the entire truck. It didn't need washed as the underneath looked better than any new trucks I'd seen including my own 2011 Dodge. Since I bought in November, it was stored indoors the first year + I had a 2011 at the time. After winter, when all the salt was off the road, I started driving it. Immediately got rid of my 2011 and fell in love with this 04. It was so much cleaner and nicer than the 2011 I had purchased new. It also had a much better turning radius and was lightening fast... almost too fast for a truck that looks as classy as it does. It's somewhat of a sleeper. This truck became my golf truck. Since I golf a lot in the summer and the bed slide was so handy, I'd put my golf clubs and shoes in the back along with a cooler and it was my official golf truck. I occasionally drove this truck back and forth to work two summers which was 160 miles round-trip. Fortunately I had indoor parking where I worked too. So this truck was never really in the weather much at all. For the three years, I sprayed fluid film undercoating on the truck, never took it offroad, was only on one dirt road (I didn't like that), and stored in climate controlled garage. I added a FASS T D08 150G fuel pump and water separator, bypassing the factory fuel filter (no need for two). I added a Steering Damper Kit by SkyJacker, and replaced the tie rod ends with Moog Parts and the Sway Bar bushing with Moog parts. Also changed out the door seals with the new and improved factory door seals where it wouldn't rip near the front. That was all I had done. The ARE Truck CapVery nice truck cap with keys. I have both original key fobs for this truck as well. The truck cap is fully carpeted and insulated top and was put on when it was new and has never been off. Has front sliding window and it folds down for easy access to cleaning the truck's rear sliding window. Bed SlideBedSlide brand, slide out bed. I found this to be one of the neatest features of this truck. Turn the handle and pull, it locks out half-way then full. I've carried many things in the back of this truck including sleeping in it at one point. Had room enough for a twin bed, my tool box and a small cooler. AMP Research Running BoardsThese are awesome. My first truck with this style running board and I'd definitely get them again. They have the Cummins Power logo on them. The passenger side is near mint, drivers side has some foot wear that I didn't paint. They've never failed and can hold some weight. Never had an issue with these and I love them. Absolutely not a spot of rust - NO RUST!!!Honestly, before listing this truck I was going to have it professionally detailed but my wife and I agreed that nobody would clean it up to my expectations so I should do it myself... I did. Even though I drove this truck and cared for this truck for the past three years, I was surprised to see just how clean it is. Pinch welds clean, original paint, nothing has been painted or masked or covered and I have pictures of EVERYTHING. The Fluid Film and no salt has preserved this truck as if it were in a showroom. The tires are fairly new, GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor, Pro Grade E Rated - See pics. Has a recent oil change (Schaefers) and ALL filters have all been changed. The Bad Stuff:There's a couple small door dings. One of the fog lights had a stone hit it recently. There's a couple small dents in rear tailgate (will try to add a video or pics showing all this. Interior is immaculate other than a couple spots on drivers side seat. This was the seat that was used, all others pretty much unused. The rims are clad. That's it. I have all the original books. Maintenance records, spare tire, original jack, both sets of original keys and fobs with keys to truck cap. This is essentially a better-than-new 2004 Cummins with under 60,000 miles on it. Why Am I Selling?Selling this truck because it's time for my daughter to go to college and I really don't need a golf truck. The miles I've put on this truck have been all highway miles. I don't need a diesel to go to work or golf in. This is either going to go into someone's collection or they're going to make money with it. I'm going to miss this truck dearly. Anyone who knows me and knows the truck, keep telling me I'm a fool for selling it. However, a major change in lifestyle and other priorities must come first. I enjoyed spending the time with this old girl getting it ready for it's new owner. You will not be disappointed. Happy Bidding!!! You are more than welcome to inspect the truck prior to purchase.
