Recent service (Fall 2017): New front disc brake pads, cleaned and adjusted rear drum brakes and bled system, truck stops very well New muffler New front shocks New ignition coil, distributor cap, rotor, wires and spark plugs, performed Dodge TSB on wire re-routing New serpentine belt Changed Shell Rotella 10W-30 engine oil and NAPA Gold filter Started to shift late between 3 & 4, so replaced all transmission sensors & solenoids (TCC, O/D & governor pressure), filter & fluid. Found broken 3-4 spring so replaced that too and adjusted shift bands. Performed pressure boost valve cover plate change as per Dodge TSB. Shifts very smoothly now, but engine code P1740 needs reset. Originally had a failed AC system so it was removed – increased fuel economy and airflow to radiator. Has the typical 2nd generation Dodge cracked dash, so I installed a nice dash mat. Exterior cosmetics: has some paint chips, scratches and dents, plus rust forming in the wheel wells as evident in the pictures. The frame is solid – I oiled it every year before winter. I brush all of the brake lines down with grease, they are in great shape along with the bleeders and moving hardware. Most lines have been replaced, including the long line from the front. Mileage may increase slightly since posting since I keep the truck maintained and drivable. $200 deposit required within 24 hours of auction close.
