Up for Auction: Is my 1966 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop I am the second owner of this Car and have owned it for 3 years.The Heater Core was bypassed when i got the car but I never attempted to reconnect it as I do not drive it in the winter but found no evidence of leaks in car.Shes a good driver and runner starts right up.The paint is a definite 20 Footer upon close inspection car has many nicks and chips in paint that i have touched up but will definitely need a sanding and repaint.Vehicle had 1 repaint at least 20 years ago in original factory colors of Sapphire Iradescent Blue and Wimbledon white. Carpets are original and in good Condition as well as Dash Pad,and Head liner are all perfect no cracks or damage . Door Panels in Nice Condition Driver side had a repair and has one small crack in Corner. All Glass is original All Chrome is original and in Good shape with natural patina all trim is complete and missing nothing. Car was purchased and removed from the Garage it spent its life in since purchased new in 1966. Still has the Dealer Installed Passive Alarm System under hood. No electrical issues with Vehicle all works as it should Floors, Rockers, Chassis all solid Has factory power antenna not working GPS unit in photos not included As always too many projects not enough time or Storage Upon my purchase the following items were replaced: 4 new tires-P21575R 15 Radial Tires Exhaust system replaced from manifold to Tailpipes end with 3 inch Tips no resonators has a set of Glass Packs for a little more Rumble sounds nice. Engine completely tuned including wires / Belts replaced Replaced 2 front power window motors Replaced Gas tank Fuel pump Installed New Holley 600 cfm 4bbl Carburetor Battery Starter solenoid Transmission Rebuilt Replaced power window switches in Console. Installed Sony Cd /radio system with 2 6x9 speakers and an 8 inch underseat Powered subwoofer. New front and Rear Factory Mats Rear quarter window motors operate but need nylon drive gears replaced both sides Installed new 65 Amp Alternator Replaced sequential taillight system /Brake light Unit with modern electronic unit from Cougars Unlimited so all lights and sequential signals work as factory. Installed New trunk kit and spare tire cover. Car currently has 1967 dress up wheel covers for a sportier look but i also have the 4 original wheel covers that go with the Car as well .
