I've owned this car for seven years and have treated as if I bought right off the lot. Oil changes every three to four thousand miles. Waxed by hand every year in the spring and fall. New spark plugs replaced every 20,000 miles. Between 2015 and this year: - I have replaced the following Catalytic convertorStarterall four tiresfront and back brakesvirtually entire new exhaust systemfront struts UV jointCar was serviced for airbag recalls twice - none pending. 90% of the miles I put on this car were highway miles. My drive to work is literally five miles each day for the past six years. The interior is in pretty good shape. (Please see pics.) Exterior not so much. A few rust spots, a few dents and scratches. The car was in a minor accident in 2015 but only caused a bent fender. See pic for blue paint from the car that pulled in front of me at a stop light. The engine leaks a bit of oil. But nothing too severe. The gas tank does need to be replaced. Any mechanic shop can repair that. The check engine light is on, but for anyone who owns a Toyota, the light goes off each winter. (Which, with the inspection not due till the end of March year, resolves that issue.) No problems with power steering. Car's AC still produces cold air in the summer-time. This is a great winter car or a car for a college student to get back and forth from school. Car is still registered and insured. If you're nearby, you can test drive the vehicle.
