Please, bid only if you can afford to pay within 3 days of auction’s end. No zero or low-feedback buyers without contacting me first. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions. Rare, loaded, original, and beautiful 1979 Ford F-150 half-ton two wheel drive pickup truck with the hard-to-find factory Ranger trim package, factory 460 4v engine, and no rust. Still wearing its original and gorgeous Dark Emerald Green & Mint Green two-tone paint with factory bedside tool box and original Explorer wheel covers, she’s a head-turner for sure, and not a truck that is easily forgotten. A rust-free truck since new with just over 88,000 miles showing on the odometer... original paint with nothing to hide... they are only original once; this is a rare opportunity to own a genuine survivor. A well-optioned and easy-to-drive truck featuring the powerful 460 V8 engine, C6 heavy-duty automatic transmission, tilt steering column, power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning (complete, needs recharged), dual fuel tanks, tow package, and of course the rare fancy Ranger trim. This truck just received a full professional detail inside and out, and is in wonderful condition... the original factory paint still shines beautifully, as you can see. While many old Ford trucks run around on some sort of generic aftermarket wheels, this truck rolls with optional original vintage Ford Explorer wheel covers! The tires are Goodyear Wranglers in sound condition, and perfectly sized to the truck, if I do say so myself. Power front disc brakes, automatic transmission, and true power steering make the truck a pleasure to drive. The bed is also rust-free and wearing original paint; nothing hidden. The truck wore a light canopy for most of its’ life which protected the bed well. I just replaced the windshield and gasket; brand-new. The original Ranger interior upholstery is also in very good condition, featuring the classic Comfort Weave vinyl seat, with matching original vinyl floor mat. The dash is beautiful, the dash pad is uncracked, the door panels original and nice, and the original headliner is still in place... You just don’t find them this original and nice anymore. Even the steering wheel remains original. The truck is in daily-driver mechanical condition with good brakes, a fresh tune up, and new fluids. Super easy to drive, steer, and stop with full power. This is fantastic classic Ford that will turn more heads than a new $60k truck, at a fraction of the cost. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 38-year-old classic car, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please expect this classic used truck to have minor issues associated with a classic of this era; this is not a contemporary vehicle. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone. Again, feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
