I bought this car in 2007 in Kansas for $15,000.00. It was a nice daily driver type car. I drove it from Kansas to Houston with no problems. Later I decided to take the car to the next level and get it back to its original paint, 819 D, Ivory top w/ matador red body. We stripped the car down to bare metal and sent all the chrome to get re-chromed. I spent about $3,000.00 on chrome. All the pieces are individually wrapped. I can't guarantee that every single piece is here but at least 95% of all chrome and trim is here. The first body guy started painting the interior of the front end. I didn't like his work so I got rid of him. I then hired a second guy. He replaced the rear passenger quarter panel with new, made in USA panel. In retrospect I should have bought the panel that went all the way to the door. I checked his work and found that it still needed block sanding on the two sides of the car. The roof, front end and trunk are ready for paint. I still have a gallon or more of the matador red. Not original miles. The title when I bought it did not have an odometer reading. The floor pans and trunk pan are original and have minimal if any rust. This is a good solid car, no patches. This car needs someone who is going to paint it themselves and can do a very nice job. The engine and transmission were removed to clean and paint the fire wall. The engine and transmission were reinstalled and it fires right up. The interior is in decent shape but will not be the right color if the new owner goes with the original colors. The wheels are WELD aluminum 15" and are in very good shape. The tires will have to be replaced due to age. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
