If you are looking for a true collectible mustang then take a look at mine. Bessie as she has been known to my family for the last 30 years of ownership was one of the first few high country specials off of Ford's production line. (See the production schedule in the pictures and I have a detailed Marti Report if requested). If you have a copy of the California Special/High Country Special registry there is a picture of her when Ford announced the High Country Special to all the area dealers at the Continental Speedway on July 11, 1968.(see pix). She is unique and has the original shoulder harness seat belts used launch. Bessie traveled with me across the United States from Colorado, California, Georgia, Illinois and now Ohio. I have sold most of my collection and want her to go on to the home of another Ford enthusiast who appreciates her like I do... Her 289 was recently rebuilt completely top to bottom, and recently I added electronic ignition, replaced the gas tank, new exhaust, fuel lines and installed new tires and brake cylinders. Leaf Springs were replaced about 5 years ago and the under carriage though not detailed, is in very good condition.
