1954 CHEVROLET 3600 3/4 ton with 3 Speed Transmission on the column and 5 WINDOWS!!! Thriftmaster 235, 2 door, exterior green, interior tan/brown, 6 cylinder, manual transmission. Very very good condition. Stored in garage. Includes original 1954 Chevrolet Truck Shop Manual. Photo shows odometer but cannot guarantee that is reliable (I honestly do not know). Gorgeous green clean paint. Seats and overall interior in excellent condition. Overall condition of the truck is VERY GOOD for its age, and it is fairly priced accordingly based on historical value and comparable vehicles. The bed is detailed in wood. White wall tires. New battery. FIVE WINDOWS (not 3) which is hard to find. Runs consistently and driven occasionally around BigFork to ensure it’s well-kept. And boy does it turn heads! Stirs up a lot of intrigue and interest on the streets. Needs attention to the electrical system (see notes at bottom) to be in prime condition, but currently operational as noted. Chevrolet got the jump on Ford, Dodge and Studebaker by producing its Advanced Design series of pickup trucks in 1947, a radical styling change from the prewar model trucks. These new trucks offered more cab room, a streamlined body style and the capacity to carry heavier loads. Chevy produced the 1954 pickup through 1955 and was the last of the Advanced Design trucks. There is probably a short that causes the brake lights to stay on at times and potentially drain the battery. The turn signals do not work. The headlights work but it can be tricky to get them on but then they stay on/operational after that. The wiring is simply aged and needs to be addressed as expected with a vehicle of this age. The vehicle is fairly priced to include these concerns.
