Vehicle Detail
Time to part with my sound and well sorted 325 (E46) coupe . . . this car is a daily driver, NC inspected . . . and a joy to drive. I'll miss this car, but I need cash for another project. In the glovebox, the winning bidder will find thousands of dollars in receipts for maintenance and upgrades over the last 2 years. 100% of the work was done professionally, most of it by Autohaus, in Waxhaw NC, arguably the best independent BMW shop in the state. Nearly the entire suspension was rebuilt, brake system refreshed, brand new set of matching wheels and tires. It does show some signs of its age. The previous owner put a pair of M3 fenders on it, and had the front of the car painted to match the original color. The clearcoat is peeling, and you can see it in the pictures. The driver's seat has a wear spot on it. There's a picture. The passenger side wing/rear window motor quit, so I fabricated a bracket to hold the window closed. The sunroof is quirky and unreliable, so I don't use it. Other than these minor issues, everything works . . . . I'm sorry for how car-snob this will sound . . . . but it has to be said: There are lots of BMWs around that were driven hard by people who bought the fashion statement of the hood ornament, and didn't maintain them. The winner of this auction will get a very sound car that was well cared for. Please contact me if you have questions. Update: I have no idea what is causing eBay to claim there's a minor title issue with the car. I can assure you that the title is clean, and the odometer has not been tampered with......Check CarFax and I'll refund the cost for the winning bidder. The title is squeaky clean and the odometer is original to the car. (Methinks eBay wants to double their money and cause me to have to relist the car!)
