Vehicle Detail
In today’s market, the 1973 911’s are selling at prices well into six figures. A fully restored 911T can sell for over $100,000.00. This 1973 911T is a perfect candidate for restoration. After a minor setup due to being stored, it runs and drives, and can be enjoyed. Generally a restoration project is a car that is not drivable. This is not the case with this 911T, the body is straight and rust free. It had been re-painted, showing only one blemish on the hood that is in need of touch up the size of a dime otherwise excellent condition. The body-lines are straight and once the dime size area is repaired it will be (flawless) beautiful. In addition there is no known rust under this 911T. This 911T originally had a stainless Targa bar. The Targa support bar and bar cover on this 911T has been removed and a 1978 Porsche Black German OEM manual convertible is in now in it’s place (photos show mock-up, convertible not bolted down). The Black German OEM convertible cloth and frame are in exceptional condition. The interior is in good condition as well. While not perfect, it is presentable. All of the gauges are clear with no fogginess and work properly. Carpet, seats, dash and door panels are very good. There are two areas of consideration with this 911 interior: one the original steering wheel of course needing to be recovered, Two driver-side door needs attention window regulator needs a nut replaced. I have all the OEM parts. There is a list of extra parts that is also included in the sale. The engine was lasted serviced in 2006 by Black Forest Racing with a complete tune-up and stored since then: Parts replaced by Black Forest Racing: -All fuel injection lines -All fuel injectors -All fuel injector seals -Fuel distributor -A/C Hose -A/C Clutch -A/C Condenser -A/C Dryer -Oil breather Line in addition clutch, brakes, and tires/rims are all in excellent condition. We want the buyer of this 911 to understand, this is a great opportunity to own a classic porsche. While a concours 911T is approaching six figures in value, this one is a being offered for sale at a fraction of that.
