Vehicle Detail
This is a 1958 MGA that has had an restoration along with some special upgrades. The first and most important upgrade is the engine is an 1800cc MGB engine with 95HP. This MGA achieved a 0–60 mph (96 km/h) time of just over 11 seconds. The motor is silky smooth and extremely strong!(engine has had all external seals replaced, if you can think of the gasket or seal, it's been replaced). Regular 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly, and rear end is nice and quiet(rear end has just had all it's gaskets and seals replaced). The interior is excellent as well. All switches work as they should and attention to detail will be seen throughout. I am advertising this car for the owner, he is moving out of town and needs to sell this beautiful car asap. This MGA get's thumbs up everywhere it goes and is a crowd producer at the car shows. This classy 1958 MGA was rescued from dry storage where it spent just over 20 years. The best thing about the car was how well preserved and rust free the car was. a restoration was performed to bring it back to its former glory The Gas Tank was Cleaned and SealedAll new gas lines were installedBrand new fuel pump installedentire electrical system sorted through and converted to a positive groundNew 6 volt batteryTachometer was rebuiltEntire front end was rebuiltNew Brake Lines / Wheel Cylinders / Drums / ShoesNew Master cylinderWheels were sandblasted and power coatedNew British MGA tires installedNew wood steering wheel added`~~~ really sharpConvertible top frame is original~~ with new Convertible TopEngine was rebuilt and sounds Great~~provide me with a phone number to text you a video of MGA runningHAVE BEEN EMAILED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO LIST THE SPECS OF THE ENGINE ENGINE NUMBER---- 18GB-U-HB6395 U----CENTER GEAR H-----HIGH COMPRESSION 18GB------- 1798 CC B------- YEAR 1971 Not often do you find a rust free example of a MGA with the Updraded 1800 CC Motor in this condition~~ any questions call 815-556-9583 NadaValues Original MSRP Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price" style="box-sizing: border-box; padding: 8px; font-size: 15px; text-align: right; border: 1px solid rgb(221, 221, 221); line-height: 1.42857; vertical-align: top;">OriginalMSRPLow Retail Value This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning.
