56 Ford Thunderbird - rare Sage Green green/white interior in original condition. Well optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat and they all work! 312 v-8 with 245 HP, freshly rebuilt original carburetor, runs very well.Automatic trans shifts smooth (ford-o-magic) brakes were just done and stop straight.New factory type dual exhaustNew Seat covercarpet is new but wrong colorNew radial white wall tiresOriginal hub capsGreen port hold hard top, no soft top, has new tan eau cover in greenUnderside is just surface rust with good floors.This car is a great "driver" or a good candidate for restoration. I take it to work a couple of times a week, and I drove it over 75 miles to a car show, very nice on the expressway, engine runs cool, does not overheat.The Sage Green paint on the car is old. I would say 1/2 of it is still the original, but it has been blended for touch up - probably decades ago! Has a few dings here and there but still turns heads as your driving.It has 88,000 miles on it and I believe it to be original as the last owner before me was the original owner who had it since new. It was her vacation house car so it didn't get used a lot.This baby bird is a driver that you won't be afraid to drive or park somewhere, unlike a big money show car.Hard to find one running/driving for this money. buy it now price is very fair.
