You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 4-door coupe featuring a beautiful 5-year-old / $30,000.00 full interior and exterior restoration, in excellent turnkey mechanical condition. This is an extremely straight classic with beautiful bodywork and a still-beautiful paint job. This has been a one-family vehicle since new, the miles are original, and the car has never had rust, ever... the floorboards and rockers are virgin; a very well-kept classic. The car was treated to a full and expensive body-on-frame restoration only five years ago, and while just beginning to show little age here and there (fewer than 2,000 miles driven since restoration work), the car is still in fantastic condition, as you can see. I’d personally give the car an 8.5 out of ten; it’s that nice in my opinion. The dash is just about perfect... the interior was fully restored including new paint, correct vintage upholstery, carpet, headliner, etc. It still looks gorgeous, as you can see. Even the clock works! Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc. Mechanically very sound, she loves to run at 70 mph on the freeway without issue. The original Super 88 324 cubic inch Rocket four-barrel engine runs smoothly, the power curve solid, and the transmission shifts as it should. An easy-driving car you can hop into and go on the weekends without anxiety. As you can see, the under hood appearance is as she left the factory. The genuine wide whitewall tires are in almost new condition, mounted on original steel wheels wearing original hubcaps. The body is as straight as you will find anywhere, with no rust, past or present. The stainless trim is extremely nice, the front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed (very expensive), and the glass unbroken all around. The doors open and close as though the car was still new. New window gaskets all around, new felts and wipers, door weatherstrip, trunk weatherstrip, etc. In case anyone happens to notice, there is a “clip-on” auxiliary mirror on the driver’s door that comes off in 30 seconds; no holes drilled. I’ll remove it prior to shipping. The interior features a full restoration as well including a new carpet kit, new seat upholstery, restored visors, new headliner, new restored door panels, new interior stainless screw trim kit, restored door sill plates, etc. The dash is gorgeous. Basically the interior looks very close to as-new condition. The Olds has a total of just over 60,000 original miles, and has had only two same-family previous owners, and has been maintained and well cared for. Even the trunk was restored and still looks close to new. While not a $100,000.00 concourse restoration, the work was obviously performed at a high professional level, and has held up beautifully. She is going to make someone very happy!
