Original 1960 VW FiberglassEL LOBO Dune Buggy Classic 70's For Fun, Off Road or Race NO RESERVE The ?El Lobo? fiberglass dune buggy was very popular for its all-around good looks and was used a lot for off road fun and Drag racing. Many buggys can really look god awful when it comes to the front nose or face as others call it which is the whole charter of the buggy. This is an original El Lobo buggy that has the sidewall little built in mud flaps which no other fiberglass buggys have. El Lobo Buggys where manufactured in Woodford of La Crescenta, California. It was an up and running buggy and was originally used for camping by a family in Southern California, but the original owner passed and motor was removed and sold. Comes with California lisc plate & Certificate of Title ?Pink Slip? last registered in 1998, but has a NON OPERATIONAL up to 8-14-2016 which $81.00 was due. El Lobo was purchased in Southern California for a project to be built for one of our customers, which did not pan out so we need the room and must sell it. We specialize in custom Performance VW Motors, so buggy is being sold without a motor but we have many options if needing a motor. See most all buggys in the day had the center intake manifold and some old school Zenith or Holley Bugspray carburetor and a big old aluminum dished air cleaner, so the area in the center of the taillights was factory molded to give clearance, Now, when running dual carburetors you don?t need that area exposed so this has the aluminum cover to cover up that area to smooth out the lines if wanted or not its removable. · Fiberglass body is really nice and there are some additional small holes drilled for exterior mirrors which go with the buggy but we like the smaller ones that go higher on the windshield posts. There are some cracks at the gas fuel neck which can be easily fixed and there are two small holes below headlights for some hidden blinkers.
