Hey there classic Mercedes collectors here is a great one to add to your fleet, I am selling a 1965 230 sl convertible with the hardtop and a nice black canvas top ,These are one of the best daily driver classics around ,it is a survivor type car that has been well taken care of but repainted a few times , the paint on the car looks good but not great , the car has receipts that show it was from California then Louisiana then Texas , it starts right up and runs good no extra smoke or noise , the automatic transmission shifts nice, better then most ,the lights work, the windows and doors etc work nicely, the convertible top frame is a little cantankerous to get up and down but it works , the top has a couple minor scuffs and blems but actually is very good, the top well area is super clean no rust there, the motor compartment is extra nice and shows great, the undercarriage is pretty clean , the floors have undercoat and might have had some rust but I don't see anything major and the car is from the dry south , the paint is shiny but the car really deserves to be stripped and done professionally considering how valuable the cars have become . The interior has been redone at some point and it looks good , I love the classic white with red color combo, the car is really ready to enjoy as is and I think that I wouldn't really do anything to this car except enjoy it , THIS IS A GOOD PAGODA 230SL NOT A PERFECT ONE . It has the manuals and a hard top stand . I am not asking 50 to 70 thousand like most are priced now days , I want to sell it and it should bring in the 40 range in my opinion but I have a low reserve so be serious and be ready to pay if you bid it , any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 I can help you find a shipper to almost anywhere . read my feedback and buy this car The headliner is little shabby in the hard top but easy to replace.
