Vintage Barn Find! I purchased this 1957 2 Door Hardtop recently from a Man that owned it since 1979, It had been sitting in his barn and not running for the last 20 Years! The 265? V-8 engine is Not Stuck! And Not Running! He installed a New Borg Warner T10 4-Speed (AS9-T10W) Tag! with inline shifter in it way back when, He believed the engine was a 265 possibly out of a corvette? according to people he talked with at GM? The stamped numbers are not visible on the engine deck, Mileage is unknown shows 16,734? Tires are very weathered and holding air on the old Magster Mag Wheels, I have various parts in a box in the trunk! This car needs plenty of TLC as seen! The floors are rusty and there are a couple holes in the square tube frame on the drivers side where body mounts were attached- the rest of the frame looks pretty good, The trunk looks very solid with a few small holes, I believe this car was originally a 6 cylinder with automatic trans., This car could be made to run and used as a survivor or restored to what ever extent the new owner desires!
