Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a amazing 1971 CT70 survivor with 2846 original miles. This bike is my uncles and he used it to get around the camp grounds and his property. My uncle is having some health issues and has decided to sell it to help pay some bills. THE CT70 Does NOT have a TITLE. This is an awesome example of a original CT70 is the very popular gold candy and the gold helmet (Large) that my uncle would wear. With only 2846 miles on this CT70 is still wears the original Nitto tires and has the original Honda Key ( Mad key chain) included. The paint does show some chips and scraps here and there but still has a great glow. The engine is original to the bike and run great and starts right up, also it has a fresh oil change. The carb was replace with a brand new reproduction carb. The seat was also replaced with a reproduction unit but it still has the original 100% complete tool set. All of the controls work including headlight, hi / lo, tailight and horn. Some new parts are the taillight, Stanley headlight bulb, Honda grab handle and a new chain. The bike is 46 years and does have some minor flaws. The left handle bar has a dent or each side. It will need a battery as the one in the bike wouldnt take a charge and it does need a air filter. The battery cover is still there but the 3 little tabs that hold it in place have broken off because of age. The is some silver paint by the exhaust bracket but not sure why. Overall the bike is ready to ride. The video included shows how easy it will start and shift through all of the gears. This would be a great bike to add to a collection or just ride and enjoy. Please feel fee to ask question and can help with finding shipping arrangements. Go to Youtube and look under channel, type in "Bill Lovitz" and you will see the CT70 video. The bike is also a 3 speed automatic.
