Must sell due to storage issues. This car is being sold no reserve. Highest bidder wins. Reliable driver with minor cosmetic needs. Original V-12 engine and original transmission. No accidents or rust ever. Clean carfax. Cosmetically, this car is decent but has two major issues. The first is a large area )about the size of two silver dollars) above the drivers door. It was touched up but not well. The other issue is that someone installed what I suspect was a center mounted tail light on the trunk. The light is gone but the holes remain. Both can be seen in the images. Adding a center brake light was common for a 'late-model' used car in the '80's as they became required starting in 1986 and owners of slightly older cars often added them to make the car appear to be newer. The gaps and panel fit are good. The doors open and shut easily. The glass is all original and very good. The interior is very nice with excellent leather and wood. The dash is nice original and the carpeting is also excellent. The car starts and drives nicely. It has been upgraded with a modern ignition for reliability. The car has a fuel cell. The original tank is on the car but is by passed to the cell in the trunk. There are a lot of extra parts for the car in the trunk as well. The car has its original owners manual and welcome cassette. The engine is clean but not detailed. It starts well and idles smoothly. The underside is solid original with no accident history or rust repairs. Overall, it a fun and cheap entry into the world of Jaguar and was maintained well by the previous fastidious owner. You could address the cosmetic issue and have a very nice high quality driver or just leave it as is and enjoy. Offered without reserve. I will consider offers at any time.
