1983 TRIUMPH T140W BONNEVILLE 750 TSS ELECTRO RARE (1 of 238) COLLECTIBLE CLASSIC BRITISH IRON NO RESERVE - YOU BID, YOU WIN! On offer is a very low mileage, 98% original, great running 8-valve Bonneville TSS. There were only 238 of these made, they were the LAST models to roll out of the old Meriden factory before they closed their doors and John Bloor took over to create the New Triumph in Hinckley. CHASSIS & SUSPENSION - "Oil In frame" chassis, never wrecked; very few scuffs and scratches. All original suspension including Marzocchi reservoir rear shocks (only year for these on classic Triumphs). WHEELS, BRAKES & TIRES – Completely original front and rear wheel assemblies; could use new tires & tubes before highway use. Brakes are fully functional in have very little wear. ENGINE – Engine is completely original, in very good tune. Fresh Castrol 4T motorcycle oil & new filter. Electric start works perfectly. INTAKE & EXHAUST – Completely original Bing carbs, freshly cleaned. Original exhaust system complete, one or two small dings and some scuffing, no rust. Photos show aftermarket mufflers on bike; original mufflers in separate photo will be installed when shipped. IGNITION – Original Lucas RITA electronic ignition with original coils. HAND & FOOT CONTROLS – All original footpegs & pedals. Original hand levers and throttle in very good condition. Grips are BMW brand in good shape. ELECTRICAL & LIGHTING - OEM headlight, tail light, wiring harness, regulator/rectifier, and all other electrical items. ALL in working condition. METERS – Original meters in excellent condition. CABLES – All original cables, working properly. BODYWORK – Original gas tank, dualseat, headlight ears, fenders and sidecovers all in very good condition.
