1972 BMW R75/5 Short Wheel BaseNumbers Match I purchased this bike several years ago in CT as a riding project. I performed a lot of maintenance in the following years including:Michelin tires, still practically newGrips, brake and throttle cablesNew lower german handlebars (will include original cruiser Bar)Greased bearings and checked brakes.Rebuilt Bing carburetors meticulouslyChanged fluids, filters, plugs.. This service left me a bike that starts easily, runs well, and rides half way decent. During the last few years I have not had time to ride much or work on the bike much.
