For sale is a 1990 Honda Foretrax 300 4x4! Honda atvs are known for their reliability and for being super solid machines! This atv is no exception and could make a great machine for work or play! As you can tell this machine is blue in color. It does need a little repair work to make it perfect or could just be a cheap machine and drive it how it is. The electric start works every time on this machine however occasionally it does sound a little rough, not positive but could mean a new starter is in its future? It also does not have any working brakes, front or rear at this time. There is one drive shaft on the front right side that will need a joint replaced, I can see the boot has been ripped and the joint clicks when the wheel is turned. Also the swing arm bearings are loose on the right side and may need replaced. The only other thing I know about this machine is that the rear hubs have been welded to the axle at some point. I believe it still has the original tires on it, they are showing dry rot cracks, 3 of them seem to still hold air fine but the front right does have a leak in it, it could possibly be plugged or tubed maybe. As a whole this machine just needs a little work around the edges and a little TLC and someone could have a great 4-wheeler. I bought this out of an old barn and do not have time to play with a project, so my loss is your gain! I did put a new airfilter in it when I got it running and fresh oil in the differentials. The front and rear differentials are in great shape and pull good. The motor also turns over quickly and runs smooth with no smoke or noises.
