MECHANICS SPECIAL MUST READ!!! 115,400 Original Miles 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500HD SLT - 6.6L V8 TURBO DIESEL WITH AUTOMATIC ALLISON TRANS - 100% STOCK - TOWING PACKAGE - 4X4 CLEAN TITLE - 1 OWNER This is a really nice 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500HD You already know how hard it is to find a low milage diesel truck so don't let this one pass you by it will not be delisted and it will be sold to the highest bidder. This truck is in good shape inside and out, the body is pretty solid no dents, major dings rust or rot. Paint quality is pretty good as well, this is not a new truck so please keep in mind there is normal expected wear and tear. Frame has normal surface rust but appears to be solid. Truck runs and Drives great, it is Reliable and Powerful it is also all stock with no modifications at all. Tires are in decent shape, Interior is in good shape see pictures. Transmission shifts good threw all of the gears and there is no Blow by truck fires right up with no issues at all. It did notice some rust starting on the inside of the rocker panels underneath the truck but its nothing to be concerned with and if addressed sooner then latter you should have nothing to worry about. All the fluids have been changed and the truck service wise is up to date, I purchased this truck from the original owner he was very good at taking care of it. Truck does need a good cleaning but if you are looking for a deal and want a strong running Diesel and don't want to spend top dollar you may want to take a extra look at this truck. also drivers seat bolster has some wear, rest of the interior is in great shape. This is a non smoker owned truck, does not have any odd smells or issues. Typical expected surface rust (frame) PASSED EMISSIONS & INSPECTION now for the bad: NEEDS REAR BUMPER & 4X4 DOES NOT ENGAGE SERVICE 4X4 LIGHT COMES UP ON THE DASH I don't know much about Diesels and I am not a mechanic but I think it needs a Transfer case. I actually have a new transfer case that was rebuilt and tested just needs to be installed. This transfer case will go with the truck, I just don't have time to mess with it. Truck runs and drives perfect in 2WD but 4x4 does not work. I purchased the truck from a Estate sale and the wife mentioned a rebuilt transfer case was being sold with the truck so I have to assume it needs a Transfer case installed. I don't know it could be something stupid like a switch I am just giving worse case and selling it with the rebuilt transfer case. Drive it the way it sits in 2WD then fix it on your free time, Easy fix. turn key & reliable as it sits, I was driving it daily for a little bit. Also truck has some light scratches and normal wear and tear it will come with a clean and clear title. Also has a little play in the steering wheel probably something stupid, ball joint or tie rod.
