1967 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible in Saffron, a factory color--pale yellow. The seats have been redone in white, matching the white roof, while the door panels remain factory original in pale yellow. The carpet is brown and appears to be the original low-cut loop-style, with moderate wear on the drivers side. Overall shape of the car is decent. It is not a show car, but rather a presentable driver. This is the kind of car that you can drive around the lake and take to car shows for fun. It won't ever take first place, but it's a fun, presentable cruiser. The paint and body work is decent, and looks to have been redone in the last 5 to 10 years. We wish they painter would have gone the extra mile to more carefully tape off around the jams as there is overspray here and there on the rubber trim. The color is shiny, vivid and makes the car a definite attention getter on the street. The vinyl top is in fair condition. The mechanism/pump is operational, but needs assistance when raising the top. The 425 V8 always starts quickly whether hot or cold and runs out good. The transmission shifts out smoothly. All dash gauges work as they should. Recent maintenance includes a new radiator. Tires are also newer.
