Vehicle Detail
Hello to all eBayers! I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This vehicle has a clear CALIFORNIA Title. 1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 The Oldsmobile 88 is a full-size car that was sold and produced by Oldsmobile from 1949 until 1999. From 1950 to 1974 the 88 was the division's top-selling line, particularly the entry-level models such as the 88 and Dynamic 88. The 88 series was also an image leader for Oldsmobile, particularly in the early years (1949–51) when it was one of the best performing automobiles thanks to its relatively small size, light weight and advanced overhead-valve high-compression V8 engine. This engine, originally designed for the larger C-bodied and more luxurious 98 series, also replaced the straight-8 on the smaller B-bodied 78. With the large, high performance V8, the Oldsmobile 88 is widely considered to be the first muscle car, 1959 was the last year of the big Horsepower for Oldsmobile until the muscle car era would arrive, it was also the last time Oldsmobile won the Daytona 500, with Richard Petty at the wheel of his 1959 Olds Dynamic 88 Hardtop he won by only a fender length. The 371 Cubic Inch Motor was known for its big horsepower and even bigger torque. This Oldsmobile Dynamic has 51,511 actual miles. The title doesn't have the miles because of the age. Mechanicals This Dynamic 88 is powered by the standard 371 cubic-inch 'Rocket' V8 (371cid/270hp 2bbl) engine and fitted with an optional four-speed 'Jetaway' Hydra-Matic transmission. The engine purs and runs great! Automatic transmission shifts great. Original owner's manual. Overall the car is in great mechanical shape! Exterior Nice exterior design with optional two-tone pain, elegant color combination of copper and white, shiny bumpers. Minor little imperfections, but nothing major. All doors, hood, and the trunk open and close as they should. All glass is nice and the lights work as well. White wall tires and original hubcaps. The front grill is in great condition. Clean undercarriage and engine compartment. Interior Tan interior is in nice condition. Complete and clean dash with working gauges. The back seat is in amazing condition and it is the original upholstery the front seat was redone like the original pattern. The floors are very clean. Nice door panels, steering wheel and headliner. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1950’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of. I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
