I've owned this Jetta since early 2014 and am the third owner according to carfax which I'd be happy to share an electronic copy of for those interested. I've recently spent thousands of dollars on purchasing a much lower mileage motor & trans from a wrecked car that only had 120K miles as the timing belt on the original mtr skipped time and bent valves. At that time w/in the last 100 miles I've replaced the clutch w/a quality OEM Sachs unit as well as a new timing belt kit and all associated fluids & filters all purchased from Bora/Cascade german auto parts. I upgraded the plastic belly pan to a dieselgeek panzer plate and installed a plug-in block heater frostheater brand for starting ease on cold mornings. The correct fluids (brake,coolant & castrol 50501 oil) have always been used) as well as associated filters (fuel, air, cabin & oil) Suspension is tight, brakes kept up and tires are all matching w/approx 85% tread life left. I'm happy to assist w/transport options & would even consider driving the car to wherever in the country you may live w/the appropriate compensation. There is nothing that I know is wrong with my car at this point & would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
