Vehicle Detail

2000 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA CABRIOLET - TRIPLE BLACK NO RESERVE I have owned this beautiful 911 cabriolet since 2009. It had 72,850 miles when I purchased it and I have only driven it approximately 4800 miles in 8 years. I kept it in my garage covered and drove it on weekends maybe a half dozen times a year because I traveled frequently and there were limited opportunities to enjoy it. The car needs nothing except a new owner who will drive and enjoy it. It has 19 inch rims and tires. 235/35ZR19 front with Toyo tires, and 285/30ZR19 rear with Nitto Invo tires. The tires have 90% tread left. The couple of the rims have very minor curb rash and were that way when I purchased it. No check engine light or other lights on the instrument panel, the instrument panel does need a bulb for the clock display but all other displays are fine, radio and CD player work fine, the convertible top is in excellent condition, the 6 speed manual transmission shifts fine and it drives and rides exactly what you would expect from a Porsche 911. I had the belts, hoses and oil changed each summer. I have had the following repairs done in the last 7 months by a certified Porsche mechanicNew fuel pumpNew hood strutsNew rear shocksNew BatteryReplaced the two hydraulic cylinders that operate the topHad the top calibrated after replacing the hydraulic cylinders The top works perfect except the roof latch begins to retract about 2 inches before the top touches the windshield support. It was that way when I purchased the car and the previous owner advised he stopped the top closing process and pulled the top into place by hand and then finished closing the top and the latch catches properly. I did not have the latch and micro switch replaced because of the limited amount I drove the car. I checked on the cost of replacing the latch and micro switch when I had the top calibrated recently and the latch and micro switch were $1350.00 from Porsche plus labor. There are 3 to 4 dings from a rain/hail storm. I took pictures but they are so minor they did not show up in the photos. The dings were there when I purchased the car and I originally intended to have them fixed but again they are so minor they are not noticeable so I never did anything about having them fixed. I have tried to give all the information about the car so interested buyers know exactly what they arebuying. It is truly a beautiful car and I love it but it is time for a new owner and someone that can drive and enjoy it. Happy bidding and please send me an email with any questions. I also have the car advertised locally and if it sells I will end the bidding early. If you have less than a 5 ebay rating you must contact me before you bid!!
