Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my super cool 1957 Pontiac Chieftain 2 door hot rod. Below is a detailed description of the build and a video link to see and hear the car running: https://youtu.be/XdZvnBQwBtU Engine bay : Rebuilt 1967 Pontiac 400 with #6 heads, Edelbrock Pontiac Torker intake, fresh 750 Quadrajet carb, big cam, ceramic coated long tube headers, Tin Indian alternator bracket, aluminum radiator, electric fan, polished valve covers and air cleaner Transmission : Rebuilt TH400 with shift kit and cooling lines Rear end : Stock one legged '57 Pontiac with stock gears and fresh fluid and seals Brakes : Rebuilt drum brakes at all 4 corners with Corvette style master cylinder Exhaust : Ceramic coated long tube headers, stainless piping from headers back through Magnaflow mufflers (Nice clean deep low rumble that sounds great without any drone) Fuel system : Fuel tank was cleaned and sealed. Has electric fuel pump that feeds the manual pump Suspension : Stock front springs with 1 coil cut for stance. Stock rear leaf springs. Fresh gas shocks front and air shocks rear. Front suspension will need bushings replaced in the near future. Steering : Stock manual steering. Old school steering wheel Body : Car is currently primer black with the engine bay and trunk finished in semi gloss black paint. Body is very straight and ready to be finished and painted or left alone and driven as is Wheels / Tires : Front - Streeter 17x7 with 225/45/17 ; Rear - Streeter 18x8 with 255/45/18 Interior : New black carpet, new white headliner, Lokar tall shifter, primer dash, new seatbelts front and rear. Stock original interior that is in decent condition. Interior chrome shows it's age (pitting and patina). Lower door panels frayed and worn but still original. Still shows nice and looks good. Goes well with the style of the car. Electrical / Lighting : Headlights, taillights, blinkers, dome light, dash light, and gauge lights work. Has complete fresh wiring from front to back. New Super Start battery Overall Condition Summary : Car runs, drives, stops great ! Starts every single time and has never left me stranded anywhere in the 2 years I've owned it. Runs smooth and strong. The 400 has plenty of torque and cruising power to get this beautiful two door Poncho going down the road with ease. It's a great cruiser that is ready for it's next owner to take it to the next level, or cruise as is and enjoy it in traditional hot rod style. It cruises well on the highway and in traffic. It has no air condition and no heat. All windows roll up and down. Passenger side door glass and driver side vent glass each have a crack (same glass as a 1957 Chevy). Terms of Sale : Please feel free to message me or call me at 210-859-1603 with any questions regarding the car. Buyer is responsible for a $500 deposit by PayPal within 48 hours of auction close, with balance due by wire transfer, certified bank check, or cash in person. Clear Texas title in my name.
