We've maintained it like a lease vehicle. Always changing oil before 5000 miles, and more. Hate to see it go, but I just bought a prius and need some spare change. It doesn't have the two rear bucket seats, which makes it a perfect camper to roll out a mattress, haul some stuff around, our haul a trailer! FULL SIZE SPARE UNDERNEATH VEHICLE. NO RUST ON BODY. LOOKS GREAT. Report says 3 owners but really 2. Transferred the title from my father's name to mine, and the van was bought from a close family friend. It's been extremely well kept and it's ready to serve another 150k miles easy. 235xxx miles. Mostly highway and travel miles. Astro vans routinely hit 350-400 thousand miles with the right care. And this astro can and will do exactly that. There is a cult following of these vans due to their reliability and performance. A wide range of cheap OEM and after market parts, and a huge database of knowledge online through facebook groups and forums. I was going to raise it up and put mud tires on it, but decided to buy a smaller vehicle. People do everything with these vans from drag racers to rock climbers. Seriously. They are that bad ass. Look no further for your next vehicle. This one is what you want. Some of my favorite features & upgrades. - REBUILT TRANSFER CASE - NEWER TIRES (2 years ago replaced - tread will last another 5 years easy) - ALL WHEEL DRIVE (a beast in the snow) w/ rebuilt transfer case - a 1200 dollar part. - REAR HEAT AND AC (needs to be recharged - still blows cold though!) - NEWER DISTRIBUTOR CAP - NEW WATER PUMP (replaced beginning of this year - the most expensive one with a lifetime warranty) - NEW FUEL SEND LINE (these rust through on most vehicles, i replaced with expensive copper lines) - K & N AIR FILTER (50 dollar performance air filter that you clean every 10k miles and never have to replace again, added maybe 1 or 2 mpg to it and a bit better acceleration) - INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS REPLACED (expensive job that occurs at least once on most vehicles) At almost every other fill up, I used fuel additives for fuel injector cleaner, etc. Seafoam treatment a month or so ago as well. This vehicle is clean titled, with no major problems. It will drive right now every day and make you a happy person.
