Vehicle Detail

Please read entire post before bidding, and thank you for looking. If you would like more pictures or of anything specific, please ask. This is a classic Honda superbike that brought Honda into the motorcycle spotlight in the late 60s, early 70s. It's a restoration in progress and needs some time and attention that I can't give it anymore. The previous owner rebuilt the engine and that included new pistons and rings. The engine rebuild has about 1500 miles on it. I have replaced / rebuilt many parts including: Repainted gas tank and new Honda badges New OEM petcock and fuel lines New side covers with new 750 FOur badges and OEM Honda Gold badges Repainted airbox and new OEM filter New OEM Airbox boots and clamps New OEM Carb Insulator boots and clamps New OEM locking gas cap New aftermarket wire harness New OEM fuse box New OEM battery terminal wire New turn signal flasher New headlight and rim New aftermarket seat with Honda logo New spokes on both wheels New bearings on both wheels New Dunlop K70 Tires on both wheels (along with brand new tubes) Professionally rebuilt and repainted caliper with NOS brake rotor and stainless steel bleeder Professionally rebuilt and repainted master cylinder with OEM brake lines New OEM brake shoes in rear wheel New OEM front footpeg rubbers, hardware and repainted mounts NOS speedometer and tachometer NOS handlebar switches New OEM levers with rubber tip New mirrors New aftermarket front turn signals and stays New OEM rear turn signals and stays New OEM Fork caps and gaskets New OEM Steering bridge nut New D.I.D drivechain and SunStar Sprockets New OEM clutch cable, throttle cables and speedo + tach drive cables New OEM ignition coils and spark plug caps New OEM condenser plate and points New aftermarket original style stamped (HM341) exhaust from CMS (high quality Dutch part distributor) New OEM exhaust clamps and gaskets Carburetors rebuilt to stock with genuine Keihin jets and OEM float valves; retuned to stock specs I've invested over $3,000 into this bike. The exhaust alone was $1000. The NOS Speedo and Tach were about $300 each. The handlebar switches were about $200 each. These are parts I received in original Honda packaging. They all work. I'm not going to provide pictures of all receipts as there are too many. I will message you any info and pictures you want. All parts I've put in were either OEM, NOS, or aftermarket from Consolidated Motor Spares, Yamiya Motorcycle and top rated eBay sellers. They are all high quality OEM and aftermarket distributors/manufacturers. I've done my best to get this bike back to stock look and performance. I've replaced many nuts and bolts and grommets with OEM or stainless steel hardware, but not all. I've installed a stainless steel Allen head bolt kit with anti-seize on the engine covers. Gas tank is mostly clean inside and shines brilliantly in the sun. The front rim and both fenders could use some polishing. Some of the engine covers are polished, the others need work. Registered in NY with a clean title. There is a small oil leak. I have replaced the oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, transmission cover and stator cover gaskets with high quality Honda gaskets. The cylinders read equal compression through all of them. No smoke in exhaust. Exhaust sounds great. The engine runs and the bike rides. I just adjusted tappets, timing and synced carbs. It is being sold as is. Thanks again for looking, and I will include a CarbTune carburetor synchronizing tool with the bike, as well as some of the old parts. I have a reprint shop manual and Hanes book I will include. I also have a nice leather / canvas saddle bag and tool roll available for $200 if you want. Very sharp looking and matches the bike nicely.
