Selling my 2004 BMW R1150RT motorcycle. Don't really want to however I don't drive as much as I used to. The bike is in excellent condition. Never been tipped over, dropped, or in any accident whatsoever. No rust, no major scratches, doesn't look like a bike built in 2004, looks much newer. Runs awesome, super low miles (10,900), needs no repairs as far as I know. Don't let this one pass by if you are interested in a BMW bike. You won't regret. No issues whatsoever. First title issued in PA in 2004. 3 consecutive titles issued in OH over a 3 month period in 2005. I bought new tires several years ago but haven't put too many miles on them. I used a penny to measure the tread depth. Abe's hair on his forehead appears to still be covered so I don't anticipate you'll need to buy new tires anytime soon. Was reading they should be changed when down to 2/32 or 1/32. I'd estimate there is at least 4/32 (1/8") still left, maybe more. Everything on the bike is in excellent working order. There are no major or hidden issues that I am aware of. It runs like a champ. I be surprised if you find a 2004 in better condition with low miles like mine. There are a few very minor things I should mention. The digital clock sometimes gets stuck and continually scrolls until I push on the clock buttons then it stops. It's never created any issues other than telling the wrong time. I'm sure someone could easily fix it however I've never saw the need to. When I took in for service in the past, the BMW dealer noticed the bike leaned over a little farther than expected when the kick stand was down. They thought maybe the kick stand was slightly bent. I've never had a problem with using the stand so saw no need to replace. The bike has never tipped over. Plus there is the other stand you can use that lifts the bike up off both wheels if desired. One of the BMW logos/badges is missing off the rear plastic side bag. Cheap part that could easily be replaced. There are a few minor scratches on the plastic side bags as well. No major scratches on painted metal surfaces and gas tank. Bike has been 100% garage kept and never ridden in the rain by me. Check out my 100% satisfaction rating on eBay. Should give you confidence the bike is what I have advertised it to be. Hoping someone purchases and uses more than I have. The motor guard, which I assume is the narrow black plastic strip that covers the engine, does has a scrape on it. It's not really an important finish surface on the bike so it isn't really that noticeable. There are two minor scuffs on the right side of the plastic fairing near the model number, again fairly minor. The bike looks great for 13 years old and is in excellent condition, however it will have very minor surface imperfections.
