1958 EDSEL VILLAGER WAGON, Barn kept slumber past 45 years or so, has not ran since parked, so at least plan on soaking it in a light oil for a few weeks +. I was planning on fixing the dent and the rust, spotting in the paint, overhauling the engine/trans, detailing the rest out and use it for a summer weekend driver.. Plans changed and limited indoor space. Here we go... Body straight with original Spring Green paint that still looks decent and shiny. Good overall body/frame except right front fender dented, rusty rocker panels, some rust in front fenders, passenger dog leg gutter, driver quarter panel had some cleaned out/removed, floors soft in some areas mainly due to original rubber flooring. Has rust but, not a "rusty car" especially for a '58 model. All those panels can be bought and replaced or simply repaired. Again overall solid. New rocker included. All original car, very complete except hood ornament missing, I may have hub caps or at least a few? Radio, window cranks, handles, trim, emblems, etc all there and mainly intact. Car rolls and steers just fine. Interior overall you can clean up and live with it. Doors open and shut and align well. Some flat side glass chipped or cracked. New correct pattern WWW tires on clean Edsel rims ($900.00 tire value). rear window glass and extra lift gate included. This car a good candidate for a restoration project that can be kept quite original. Priced to sell. Not a lot of these Wagons produced let alone Edsel's as a whole!
