Vehicle Detail
2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8: This is probably the cleanest lowest mileage 300 SRT8 in the United States. It is mint and in show room condition. I ordered this car while serving in the military in Watertown, New York (Fort Drum New, York) in January 2005. I was deployed in Afghanistan and heard about this “So Called” SRT8 that was planning to be built by Chrysler. I was considering buying a used BMW M5 until I heard through the internet about this car. The problem was, that once I returned from my deployment and called numerous Chrysler dealers about the car no one at the many dealerships ever heard of it. Then finally I call a dealer (Romano Chrysler) who heard of the new 300c SRT8 that Chrysler was planning to build but they stated they had no idea of when they could take orders for the car. I kept calling the dealership and finally I talked to someone who knew about this so called “300c SRT8”. I placed an order for my car with the options that I wanted in January 2017. After 5 months my car was not built although I did have a VON (Vehicle Ordering Number) so I canceled the order and received my $1000 deposit because the Canadian plant was taking longer to build my car than they told me they would. Well guess what? August of 2005 I received a call from Romano Chrysler in, Fayetteville, New York and they said “Mr. Eubanks you cancelled your order for building the 300c SRT8 but for some reason Chrysler built it anyway. The dealership said “you are not obligated to buy it but it’s still your car if you want it”. So my wife and I drove to the dealership and they had detailed the car and had it inside…remember there were no SRT8 on the road and the one I order was probably one of the first to be built and delivered. Guess what I left that dealership 3 hours later in that SRT8 and had it in my possession for the last 12 years totaling only 8000 miles. When I cancelled the order on the 300c SRT8 I had went and bought a new Ford F150. My wife told me I deserved both J so get “your” SRT8 baby. Although I can’t guarantee it, I bet this is one of the first 300c SRT8’s built and as we all should know the 300c is the first vehicle to be badge with the SRT8 name. It has never been driven in rain, sleet, snow, cloudy weather, or windy weather. It has only stayed outside of the garage one time in its life (I couldn’t sleep). I think the back seat has only been sat in 3 or 4 times. The same with the passenger seat. The undercarriage of the vehicle is just as clean as the rest of the body. I probably have every piece of paper that have ever been generated for the car from ordering the car, registrations, insurance cards, $1000 deposit slip, manifest, odometer papers, window sticker that states this car was built especially for “Daniel Eubanks”, owners/manual set, and all other associated buying papers including the clear Georgia title. Comes with 2 sets of keys and two OEM remotes. Engine: Original 6.1 Liter Hemi with ‘zero” issues. For protection I did have the dealer leave the cosmoline on (just need to steam clean it off in some areas under the engine compartment.) Interior: Meticulious maintained with plastic still on front door seals, and tags still on passenger seat Body: Again, meticulously maintained with no scratches, dents, fading, etc…as close to mint as possible. Tires/Wheels: Original 20” factory SRT8 Wheels with “zero” curb rash, stains, etc…tires great with original miles also. Transmission: Original, and shift perfectly as expected. Options: Please see picture of window sticker. I believe navigation is the only option I didn’t get. I have always felt like that was an overpriced option. Why am I selling it: After 12 years of owning it I know it’s time to let someone else enjoy this new car because I only move it every other month around the neighborhood just to keep the tires from getting flat spots and keep the seals lubricated and from leaking. Guess what, the SRT8 is 100% original and stock. Except for the only thing that have been changed on this car is the battery. I believe I changed it in 2014/2015 I believe, which means the original MOPAR battery lasted nearly 10 years. The vehicle had approximately 7700 miles until the last two months. I decided to drive it a bit before finalizing the decision to sell it. The car comes with a high quality custom car cover and a front mask from MOPAR that I never took out of the package and it is still new. This SRT8 will be great for your MOPAR collection. Thanks for viewing my auction.
