Auction Ends approx.: 1:32 PM Central (Tuesday) 2:32 PM EasternThough this BMW is rebuilt from a prior accident, this is actually to the owner’s advantage as this car has been restored to new condition above the condition of same model year cars. It has been meticulously gone over making everything new as though it has only been off the show room floor for a few weeks at best. Even the seats, doors, carpet and floormats show no sign of wear. This is a perfect car in every since. It is garage kept and has been maintained by myself in its, same as new, condition. The front license plate is installed in the tow hook access. If your state does not require a front plate, the bracket can be removed and the original tow hook plug, which I have, can be re-installed. It will show no sign of a plate ever being on the car and the front bumper will be perfectly unblemished. This is an all-wheel drive car with 3 options for driving in which the on-board computer controls the pulling wheels to give the most traction for every moment. BMW guards the programming logic so its competitors cannot copy is superior traction. Speaking of traction, this car also has run-flat tires so you will never be stranded out somewhere with a flat tire giving the driver the ability to casually drive to the next quality tire dealer without stopping. (should that ever happen)There is also a live Miles Per Gallon gage to encourage better driving for better MPG ratings. We consistently obtained over 30 MPG even when we enjoyed a few more rapid accelerations to speed limit speeds. This is a true European sports car in ever since. The tightness and handling are amazing! There are also various up-scale features, as you would expect from BMW, such as automatic wipers… wiping only when enough water has collected to impair vision. A dual memory driver seat with the option to auto turn down the mirrors when placing the car in reverse so you can see those parking lines. Press a button and they will fold in close if you find yourself in an extra tight squeeze. Auto diming rear view mirror and of course the popular heated seats. You can blue-tooth your phone to the car radio as well. There are more features but if you know BMW you already have an idea of all the little extra goodies. If you notice the engine compartment photo, there is a post sticking up with a red cap. That is a very nice feature for jumping the car if necessary. This eliminates any risk of a battery blowing up in someone’s face. You can check the oil level from an, inside the car, monitor and, though it requires synthetic oil, you get three times the distance between changes which brings the cost down to near the price of regular oil changes on domestic cars. You just do one oil change for everyone else’s three. This is quite the classy auto with low miles for the year it is. I hate to let it go but I am between jobs and I must liquidate all my extra autos I don’t absolutely need.
