This is a 2001 VW Golf 1.8t with 66240 miles. Car is in good shape with a few issues. AC is not working, compressor kicks on but not blowing cold. A recall still exists on car that has not been completed. The recall is for the coil packs that VW will replace free of charge. A VW dealer will take care of this recall and this should clear the check engine light with cylinder misfire code. Here's the recall notice: Ignition Coils VW Action Code 28F3 Start Date 10-23-2009 Description Ignition coils could malfunction under certain conditions. If this happens, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) will illuminate to let you know that the vehicle may experience some deterioration in performance. In some cases, a malfunctioning ignition coil may cause a vehicle to exceed Federal and/or California emissions standards. Remedy Inspect, and if necessary, replace ignition coils. The timing belt and water pump were just changed with new components about 2k miles ago. A few scuffs on body as shown. Sunroof and interior are great. 5 speed transmission is fine.Dunlop tires have very good tread. New battery. Always synthetic oil changes since I got the car 4 years ago. This car has very low mileage (highway) for a Golf. Non-smokers, 2 owners car. Good bidding.
