Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my 1969 Dodge Super Bee.I bought it as a total project in 2005, it took 10 years to restore and it got finished in the spring of 2015. The car started life as a ordered car 69 Superbee 383 with 727 automatic on the column, bench seat, standard hood,99 special order paint (GM of Ford metallic blue),stripe delete, A/C,Power Windows car. It was built at Lynch Road Chrysler Plant, the Fender Tag is intact and matches all body numbers. The Original 383 engine and 727 automatic trans and power windows were all long gone when I bought the car,and it was all in primer. So it was basically an open slate to do whatever I wanted, and this is what I did with it. It now is this Beautiful Q5 Turquoise, Red Bumblebee stripe,White interior 69 Super Bee you see here. It has a Fresh 1971 440/727 that was rebuilt,it has 8-3/4 rearend 2.76 SUREGRIP 489 case,New super stock rear leaf springs,it has torsion bars that are larger than hemi bars, frame connectors and heavy duty shocks, front disc brakes(manual) large rear drums, all front suspension is brand new, with sway bar.Lots of new parts in the engine bay, including all ignition parts,850 edelbrock carb and aluminum intake,Electronic ignition new mopar performance electronic distributor with clear distributor cap,Accel super coil,MSD spark plug wires.New huge cranking amp battery.Huge aftermarket aluminum 4 core radiator and new shroud keeps the 440 nice and COOL,detailed firewall and nicely restored 3 speed wiper motor. The Interior is all new from legendary, including carpet, although the headliner is not perfect. The woodgrain steering wheel is uncracked and very nice, has tic toc tach.B&M shifter. The trunk floor, quarters, rear tail panel, are all AMD fresh sheetmetal, the left front fender was NOS when installed,All frame rails are beautiful,New windshield, all the rest of the glass is good including the frosted bees on the rear side windows.Brand new American Racing Torque Thrust wheels (15'S) and BFG Radial T/A tires (275 60 15 rear) (235 70 15 in front) with maybe 500 miles on them.Brand new wheel lip mouldings along with NOS door edge mouldings.Bumpers are rechromed originals, nice grill and tail panel. All of the wiring in the car is all brand new from Year One.I do not have the original a/c stuff,so I blocked off the ac vents in the dash, the air box is an original unit, and the heater/defrosters work off of a toggle switch.the original climate control switches are in the dash but are not hooked up.Radio is missing,i have wires run under carpet to the trunk for after market radio and speakers(which i never got around to installing, and not included) Rear shelf is a good original but is cut for speakers. Headlights and all bulbs are brand new, however a few of the dash lights are not working.Brand new Roadrunner beep beep horn(just because)Good trim all around. The hood is an aftermarket fiberglass A12 style hood that is hinged(so no lifting hood off and back on) it does have pins in front in correct location.and the scoop opening is larger than stock, and the Air Grabber air cleaner sticks up real nice sucking that fresh air.(This is NOT an original air grabber car or an A12 M code car).New Superbee emblems all around. The exhaust is all new aluminized 2-1/2 from the Factory exhaust HIPO manifolds with flowmasters all the way out the back to the factory chrome tips.New gas tank and sending unit, fuel gauge is not working(ground?),along with new fuel lines and new brake lines. The car runs great, drives straight, looks great, not a perfect 100 point show car,but a very nice restoration,a turn key driver that is a blast to drive. Also included(But Not pictured is a 15 inch spare tire on a really nice factory Chysler steel wheel and correct bumper jack), that I never got around to putting in the trunk. Clear Missouri title in my name. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. You "can" Fly into St. Louis and drive it home. Please ask any and all questions before bidding.
