Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1967 Chevy Camaro. This is a base model with a number 4 for the third digit in the VIN. This is an original V8 car, not straight 6. I haven’t owned this car for too long but I will describe it to the best of my knowledge. Engine/Trans: Small block 400 with mild cam. New everything. New exhaust (Flowmaster 10 series), new headers, new wrap on the headers, new power steering pump and power steering gear box and hoses, newly rebuilt Holley double pumper carb. New roller rockers. Rebuilt 350 Trans with shift kit. Suspension: needs a left side upper control arm bushing but otherwise drives really straight. Has the original monoleaf rear suspension with 10 bolt rearend. This car could use a set of air shocks. When occupied with passengers the wide wheels in the back rub against the fender upon hitting large bumps. If driven with caution this may not occur. Brakes: It appears a front disc conversion was started but never finished. It has a new power booster, new master cylinder and new proportioning valve. The one thing not complete is that it still has the drum brakes all around. Since it has drum brakes and a disc brake proportioning valve the brake pedal has excessive travel but still stops good. It pulls to the right when hard braking. Interior, again I don’t know too much history of this car but it wouldn’t surprise me if the seats are original. They were died black at some point years ago. The rear have a minor tear (see pics). All gauges work. The fuel is empty when it marks just below the ¼ tank mark. I recently repaired the driver side door latch and the door opens and closes as it should. New door locks with keys for both sides. Driver side weatherstrip is new. I have the passenger side weatherstrip new in the package sitting in the trunk. This car drives really well and has plenty of power. This is by no means a 40k car but is priced accordingly. It is not a rust bucket but it did have repaired rust in the usual places and has some minor rust. I don’t know the body history but it appears the quarter panels were replaced or patched at some point. In short, this is a running driving car. I still drive it daily. I prefer cash because I am trying to get a 1930 Model A project truck.
