Why trust those you love in anything else? As I'm sure most of you reading this are aware, cars in this price range typically have many owners and are in pretty beat up condition. I attribute the condition to the fact his car has had the same owner since 2003 and only 16k miles. Usually when someone has owned a car that long they tend to take great care of it. The condition of the exterior, leather and the rest of the interior components would fall in line with that logic since they all look wonderful! This car is a real pleasure to drive with it's brisk acceleration, tight handling and quality amenities! This beauty is loaded to the brim with options: Power sunroof, power windows, power locks, cd player, cruise, a/c, leather, power seats, multiple air bags, and a rear wing as well (most other listed first generation S40's do not have a rear wing or sunroof). I've looked through all the completed auctions for the last few months and this seems to be the most loaded car out of all others listed! It's the right color, the right condition and has all the right options! Definitely a rare and good buy! Exterior is exceptional all the way around and the car literally feels like silk. I just had it clay barred which removes any dirt in the paint and applied Zymol Carbon Wax...for those that don't know that is $50 wax. The only damage I see on the exterior is a few chips in the bumper which are visible in the pictures. Other than that she is exceptional. My other newer cars have three times as many flaws as this beauty! Interior is equally as exceptional as the exterior. The leather is not wearing out, the door panels are nice and clean and the car smells nice too. Radio does work as do all other power components (power windows, locks, seats, sunroof all work properly). The only weak point on the interior is the sunroof headliner is starting to sag. Mechanically the car runs and drives very nice. The engine has lots of power, put the pedal down to accelerate from a stop or to pass someone and this beauty will put you back in your seat! The transmission shifts smooth and precisely. I don't see any smoking from the exhaust pipe, and the lights all work too. Tires will need to be replaced soon.
