Hey there Maserati collectors here is a dry climate, all original ,unmolested 1979 merak ss for sale. The car has been in south texas for over 35 years . I have known this car and the last 2 owners for over 30 years . This car starts right up and runs ok, no smoke or funny noises but it does take a few minutes to clear its throat. The paint is faded but original I believe and needs to be redone but no evidence of rust or corrosion or previous wreck damage ,very straight . The original interior is in great condition with only driver seat wear and some fading , the steering wheel looks awesome . The car smells like new inside. The engine compartment is very tidy and complete . The transmission shifts well and the clutch feels good, the car is due for a set of plugs I would say but it clears up and runs ok , the brakes are on top and stop the car . the undercarriage is very clean as is the suspension, it has like new looking matching goodyear tires , all the glass is original and nice , the air conditioning is complete but not blowing cold . THIS CAR ONLY SHOWS 26184 original miles and I believe it but the car is being sold miles exempt per texas law on a car over 10 years old. I don't know exactly the dollar value of this car but I don't know of many Italian exotic cars available for less then 50,000 dollars now days and most are 6 figures , my reserve is low in my opinion any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 .
