1949 Chevy pick up. I don't know the history other than it has been in inside storage for at least the last 7 years. Two years ago we moved it to a different storage site and My uncle (who is a car guy) had it running in about 10 minutes. It's a straight 6, It has a 6 volt system and a manual transmission. It has a hang tag in it from the 2002 Car Craft nationals so We can be sure it was on the road then. It's very solid with some surface rust on the drivers side step board and a small rust hole in front of the passenger door. The bad things I know of: The brakes do not work. The wood in the bed is rotten, There is plywood over it. Also the windows don't go up all the way. Please take a close look at the pictures, they are the best description I can give. If you want additional pictures or information I'll get them to you as soon as I can. It's a cool old truck we just have come to the realization we will probably never get around to getting it on the road again.On Jun-12-17 at 18:09:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I apologize to anyone who asked a question that I didn't respond to until now.
