We purchased this truck from a leasing company and it is in need of engine repair. The truck runs and drives however it does have a intermittent tapping noise coming from what we believe to be the top of engine. We believe it to be a valve train related issue however we have not had it professionally diagnosed. The engine runs smooth, has plenty of power, does not smoke, and we have driven it about 100 miles. HOWEVER, WE ARE SELLING THIS TRUCK TO BE IN NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR. The body is in good condition, no rust or major dents. The interior has a tear in the drivers seat but other than that is quite clean. The Knapheide Utilty Bed is in good working order, all of the compartment doors open, close, and latch properly. The truck was used for residential construction so it never really saw heavy or dirty work. The tires a very close to new condition. This will make someone a very good utility truck, Knapheide is one of the industry leaders in service bodies and being mounted on a crew cab chassis makes for an excellent work truck combination. If you have the mechanical repair ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive crew cab utility truck or a nice profit. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Good Looking truck but not a new truck. It has some scratches, paint chips, fade,dings, etc.... No rust on the cab or bed. The rear bumper has some damage which can be seen in the pictures. INTERIOR: Clean. The upholstery is in good condition with the exception of the drivers seat which shows wear. DRIVE TRAIN: The engine starts, runs, and the truck drives good. As mentioned above the engine has a tapping noise. We have driven the truck about 100 miles and it drove fine.Tires are like new.
