1972 amc javelin SST 360 4bblDemon carb- mild cam - original engine & tranny , completely rebuilt w/ less than 6,000 miles since rebuilt. Front end re- done - 8 quart oil pan and the list goes on. Too much to list. Originally from Southern California - I've owned the car for about 15 years , the car has been repainted many years ago and does have a few chips showen in the pics . The javelin shows well , drives great for a classic - sounds awesome, just the right rumble and plenty of power when you want it , drive all day anywhere - no issues The cons ; speedo needle likes to bounce a bit from time to time - Rubber seals on drivers and passengers windows are dry and should be replaced but doesn't leak water when I was the car The car is and was an A/C car but the compressor- hoses etc were removed and I no longer have them Wheel well trim - do not have , never did Did my best to describe the car, it's a really nice example, I've owned 3 prior 1 being a 72 amx and this is one of my favorite, selling because I basically lost interest ( for now ) On May-23-17 at 07:27:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a note ; as all cars do on eBay , they look like show winners. I've never been afraid to pull my javelin next to a $50k classic but as noted it's not perfect. Mechanically it mint but the. Chrome I'd say 7 out 10 Paint again 7 out of 10 a good professional wax would do wonders, the glass is original show's Well for its age. So again I just want to be honest , I have what I believe to be a low reserve, under $12k which is thousands below what I've paid for the car and then spent on the javelin, all the hard work has been done , professionally no back yard mechanic, with a few more dollars the car could be a show winner.
