Vehicle Detail
**Please view the 10-minute video for a complete tour of the truck** See a video of this item I drove this 1999 two-door Tahoe Sport off the showroom floor. It has spent it's entire life in either Texas or Southern California and has always been garaged. Driven only 114,400 miles in it's lifetime, most of those on the highway. Truck is push-button 4x4 and includes the factory Z-71 Off road package. It has been meticulously maintained and cared for - I have a detailed file with receipts, dating back to the original window sticker. Just spent $350 to replace hoses, a thermostat, intake manifold and a leaking gasket. It fires up on the first turn and idles quietly. Drives straight and true, no pings or knocks. AC blasts cold. I wouldn't hesitate drive cross-country. Gets more and more compliments the older it gets. Keep in mind it is a eighteen year old truck and has a handful of chips/dents/imperfections. The interior is in good condition. The driver's bottom seat is worn, as is the armrest. Carpet is incredibly clean for the age. Rear seat leather and carpet look new. Cargo carpet has some stains but I've covered with a heavy duty mat for the past ten years. Truck has never been off-road and never abused. The only 'mod' is the aftermarket stereo - I still have the original and it will be included in the sale if you wish. Tires have plenty of tread. All lights, turn signals, latches, etc, function as they should. It was always garaged while in Southern California - at work or at home. And while in Texas, from 2011-2015, it was always garaged, while driven periodically. If you’re planning to have the vehicle shipped, I can not help with acquiring quotes. I will of course make myself available on day of shipping to see it off. I'm happy to forward pics of specific areas to interested parties, and of course discuss any questions or concerns. Thanks for looking. I’m selling the vehicle locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. On May-27-17 at 10:26:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a couple questions about the 'accident' listed on Autocheck and the fact that the vehicle is listed as having two owners. Thought it was best to respond in the body of the listing for all interested parties... Several years ago, when my father took possession of the truck and returned it to TX, we did a title transfer. He was the 'second owner'. I returned the vehicle to my name upon inheriting the truck after his recent passing. Per the accident, the truck was parked in a TX hospital parking lot and was rear-ended by a car backing out of their spot. Hit and run. I filed the police report mainly in hopes of catching the guy using the parking lot video cameras. The damage was minimal. We replaced the rear bumper plastic, rear driver's brake cover, and repainted the bumper. We also refinished the gray/silver paint, not the primary black, along the corner of the driver's rear quarter panel. At the time, I also had the rear pillar pieces repainted as they were showing their age. In going through my file on the vehicle this evening I was reminded of hitting a deer up on Mulholland Drive here in Los Angeles in 2004. Speed was minimal, @20mph, as I was going around a turn. We replaced the front plastic grille and repainted the hood and front passenger quarter panel due to scratches. All work was done by reputable body shops. I had never planned on selling this vehicle and always used the best. Feel free to ask any additional questions. Thanks again.
