1979 VW bus for sale. Factory sunroof model......getting RARERelisted.....more pics! This is a nice canvas to start with!! 100 % og paint.....No BONDO! Nothing hidden here. The surface rust and areas needing attention are right there.....not hiding behind some persons quick cheap paint job. Original Agate Brown / Mexican Beige Original 2.0 square port motor is included (is out of bus).....PO said it ran when pulled but I have not had the time to mess with it. Being sold unknown as is. Spins freely....not seized May fire up and be good...may need rebuild....price reflects 091 6 rib tranny is there and still installed in busRust in some places.....windshield area $250 under windshield KlassicFab piece included. Battery tray area and some other light rust. This bus is actually very straight (look at body line pics) Front doors very straight.....close with ease. Nice gaps. Original paint. Lower agate brown will buff out well. See pics!! Has most of the glass. Missing windshield and maybe 1 piece on side. Front seats there, nice rear seat. No middle (1 in pic is gone....but may have another I could include at an additional cost) Many bits that wouldn't normally come with a bus in this range are there but buyer would need to search out some missing as well. Rolls fine....brakes will need to be gone through though. This bus is a project but very doable! Get the motor running, put the glass in and address a few things and u could drive as is. Or would make for a very nice resto Candidate.It be awhile before I would get to this project. Don't have the room or I would keep....hard to find og paint like this....but I need the space.
