I owned this mazda since 2002 and it is my commuting to work car. I work for an airline so I just drive it once a week to the airport and back (5 miles each way). I have taken good care of it and unfortunately I lent it to a friend that overheated the car and the headgasket has to be replaced. It does not overheat, no white smoke nor coolant in the oil but when you stop the engine it loses coolant through the expansion tank, due to the excess air pressure in the cooling system. I usually have to add one small bottle of water with mix per week. Iddle is a little rough. It's a job that involves lots of labor for someone with knowledge and I was tempted to do it but I don't have the time. The two left windows do not work and the paint is not great, it is fading on the roof and it has dents and scratches.The car otherwise drives fine, good a/c, new starter motor and radiator, interior in good shape with good leather seats. Timing belt and water pump replaced at 80,000 miles. Tires with 70% of thread left.
