I have decided to downsize my collection. I bought this 1972 Eldorado as a project car. It had been sitting for at least seven years. It was willed to a gentleman from his great uncle. I took it to my mechanic and had the oil and filter changed and a new battery installed. When they went to start it, they discovered that mice had chewed the wiring harness in several areas. Consequently, the car would not start. They removed the new battery and an old one is still in the car for a core charge. I was told by the gentleman from whom I purchased this car that it ran fine when he parked it. This car would be good for a project, a parts car, or a demolition car. I have a clear Ohio title in my name, and the mileage is accurate. I also have some old registrations and the original owner's manual. I have two sets of keys. The windshield is cracked, the door lock is frozen on the driver's side and the door will not open (so you must enter from the passenger side), the trunk stays damp, and there is a small amount of mildew in the interior. The headliner is coming apart at the seams. The paint is not in good shape. As I said, this is a project vehicle. There is some rust. The reserve is set very low. This auction is for US bidders only. I do not ship. If shipping is required, it will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. I can assist with loading from my trailer to yours. A tractor is on site to assist with loading. Keep in mind that this vehicle is not running. Two forms of payment will be accepted: cash at pickup or a certified bank check. If paying by a certified bank check, I will not release the vehicle until funds have cleared. My bank puts a seven-business-day hold on all certified checks.
