This 1976 Federal Specification Triumph Spitfire has spent most of its life here in California as such there is very little rust present.No rust in the floor pans and no rust in the rocker panels means this will be a very easy restoration.The body appears to have received one respray and the panel gaps between bonnet, doors and valances are very good, leading one to believe this is a very well taken care of Spitfire. Small dents are present on the body and there is a small amount of rust in the lower rear fenders just behind the wheel arches, this can be repaired with one of the lower fender repair panels available from suppliers.Interior looks pretty clean, as far as I can tell the lower parts of the seats have been re-upholstered and the carpet looks like it has been replaced.A rebuilt gearbox was installed by the previous owner along with a new clutch kit, and brake master cylinder I have only driven this car around our 1/2 mile block, but mechanically it seems to drive well without any undue noises. Rear Leaf Spring was also replaced by the previous owned along with rebuilt rear Axle shafts. This car had been sitting in the previous owners garage since approx 2005 Car comes with the desirable Hard Top which has an intact headlining but will need some seals replaced. This car is being sold as a project and is currently on Non Op Status with the state of California. Will Not be sold with a Smog Certificate. Buyer responsible for Shipping.
