Up for sale is a red 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Got a new car so no longer need it. It has been in the family since it was purchased new. Beautiful red color. 5.2L V8 engine, still strong! Loaded- heated leather seats, power everything. In fair condition. 242000 miles. Starts, runs, and drives well. Exterior still looks really nice- just a few areas where the clear coat is chipping off and paint fading in some spots, front bumper has some chips off paint, rust on the rear of the front wheel wells and on the drivers side extends on runners in places to the rear wheel (see pictures). Interior condition is good. Minor issues that I am aware of that are currently not affecting basic function of the car: A/c not working since last year, front passenger came window off the power track but is rolled up and stays up, sunroof has been sealed shut due to a leak, needs 10w50 (heavier) oil to keep the oil pressure gauge from dropping (does maintain normal pressure with), computer says coolant sensor not working but it does, light humming noise present for last couple years somewhere under the car when going above 40mph or so- haven't had it tracked down, occasional squeaking of a pulley under the hood for a couple months (suspect it may be coming from the alternator since it started right after it was replaced- but functions fine/maintains good charge). Wheels have been switched out years ago from the original size 16s to 15s. Recently replaced new tires with lots of tread left, four new speakers- very nice cd/radio sound. New platinum spark plugs. Exhaust system pretty recently replaced including catalytic converter, muffler, and tailpipe. Heater and evaporator core and replaced recently. Headliner recently replaced. Transmission was rebuilt about 5 years ago. New headlight assemblies.
