I have personally owned two of these 5.8L cars and they are incredibly fast, yet smooth and quiet enough to daily drive. And the Shelby’s exhaust note? Incredible! Factory stock you would swear the car has a Borla or Corsa system underneath. No highway-drone whatsoever, but with an authoritative growl when you step on it. Total perfection. This particular GT500 belongs to a friend who has taken meticulous care of the car. The original Goodyear tires (which are known to offer terrible traction) have been upgraded to much higher quality Michelin Pilot Super Sports (in a slightly larger size) to improve grip. Coincidentally, these are the same tires that Ford chose as OEM for the new Shelby GT350. Our client owns the car free and clear, and is only selling because he rarely drives it with his self-employment and family responsibilities.
