2001 BMW 740i "M" Sport- MECHANIC CERTIFIED -There are no mechanical issues with this vehicle whatsoever. No warning lights. Nothing. Everything works perfectly. Within the last month, the valve cover gaskets (both sides) were replaced and Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil added. The oil pan gasket was also replaced. If these gaskets are not replaced on a car this old, regardless of the mileage, the rubber becomes hard and cracked and thereafter the car can leak oil. The lower control arm was also replaced, as were the rear brake pads. Even the shocks in the trunk were replaced. No expense was spared for any possible issue. Total repair cost: $4,288.38! Drives extremely tight. Like a brand-new car. The interior and exterior are gorgeous. Smells wonderfully new. Soft beige leather on rock-hard contour "sport" seating surfaces. No rust anywhere. Brand new tires. Wheels have no curb rash. Rare 7-Series Color - Biarritzblau Metallic (Electric Blue)LOW 66,900 MILES!As you know, 2001 was the last year for this Flagship BMW 740i Sport. But not many came in this Biarritzbalu Metallic Blue. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles and needs nothing! Just Installed for Aesthetics: Brand New Rear Taillights (not shown) were installed for crystal clear lensesWhy? Because I am a fanatic when it comes to clear taillights. I hate foggy lenses and the upper clear part of these lenses (as in most 2001 7-Series models) become foggy and could not be properly cleaned.
