1979 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Excerpt from "Excellence: Porsche Buyer's Guide: The 2013-2014 Edition" Introduced for the 1978 model year, the 911 SC (for Super Carrera) became the only normally aspirated 911 for the world market. The SC incorporated many advancements over its predecessors and would prove only of the most reliable 911 engines ever built. The SC's engine, besides being larger at 3.0 liters and more powerful at 180hp, was essentially all-new. This vehicle is being sold from my dad's estate. He loved this car and took great care of it.
